Introduction

state-of-the-art. They are designed for high throughput
rates and high crushing ratios at low operating and
maintenance costs.

Gyratories and jaw type gyratory crushers as an integral part of
semi-mobile and stationary processing plants are used for primary
crushing of bulk materials mainly in ore mines, in the natural rock
industry and in the lime- and cement industry.

Owing to the continuous crushing process, these crushers
achieve a higher throughput rate compared to that of jaw
crushers. In addition to that, they produce a lower portion of
oversize particles due to the ring-shaped crushing chamber.
