Our belt filters combine the advantages of conventional horizontal
belt filters with state-of-the-art components, materials and control
systems to achieve efficient, reliable and easily serviced filtering
systems. And that with low capital outlay and minimum running
costs.
Absolutely reliable vacuum sealing permits continuous operation
at differential pressures of up to 900 mbar. Optimum installation
flexibility to correspond to prevailing requirements ensures
economic operation - whether in wash filtration or in the
dewatering of suspensions.
A few further advantages are:
The natural sedimentation that boosts the effectiveness of
continuous filtration processes. High filtration speeds and
therefore high specific throughputs made possible by minimum
friction between rubber belt and vacuum chamber.
Highly efficient filter cake washing in single-flow, als well as
multi-stage countercurrent washing. In addition, countercurrent
washing minimizes the volume of washing fluid needed. A high
vacuum, optimum filter cake thickness and the advantages of
natural sedimentation ensure low residual moisture in the filter
cake that can be reduced even further by downline extractors
or heaters. Continuous washing of both sides of the filter cloth
prevents the formation of "blind spots" and ensures constant
filtering efficiency. |
